National Service Weekend - Dec. 20, 2013
YJA will be hosting it's first ever National Service Weekend, December 20 - December 22nd. Everyone is welcome to partake, no matter what city you are from! Let's show the nation what Jains can do for the community. Please keep an eye out on our website and regional Facebook pages for more information.

National Service Weekend with YJA Long Beach (Dec. 15)

rough. Join us to de-stress a bit - give your brain a break, and maybe make some new friends!
SoCal Jains will be serving dinner at First Friends Church in Long Beach on December 15th at 5:30 PM. You must be at least 15-years-old to participate, with a signed waiver form. On the day of the service please wear your "Keep Calm and Ahimsa" shirt along with good gripped, close toed shoes. Girls, you must have your hair tied up in a ponytail! Join us afterwards for dinner at The Veggie Grill.

Southeast Retreat - In Closing:
In one weekend, over 30 Jains all across the Southeast came together for an unforgettable weekend. From some tasty Jain food, to educational sessions, to the Jain Olympics and mafia, this retreat was a total success! National Jiv Daya Day Events
On November 28, 2013 YJA participated in National Jiv Daya Day, an event created by JAINA. We hosted 15 Pujas or Navokar Jaaps to pray for all the turkeys that were killed on Thanksgiving. Together we made a huge impact and promoted the message of Ahimsa
