The Peace of Mind Yogic Center established by Shri Shrutpragya Swami is encouraging all age groups to participate in their First Annual Essay Competition. All essays must be submitted by Monday, September 2, 2013 and should be no more than 500 words. Please submit all essays to pomyc.org@gmail.com.

Vandana - An English Transliterated Collection of Jain Stavans

Jain youth often feel left out in our bhavanas and stavans because our books are in Gujarati and Hindi. There is a new book we'd like to announce--after years of effort in selecting, collecting and editing our favorite Jain stavans, we bring you Vandana: a carefully selected collection of Jain songs that is created by and especially for today’s Jain youth. By providing the Gujarati or Hindi text PLUS English transliteration for each of the 140 songs, we hope to transform the experience of participating in musical bhavana into something meaningful and enjoyable for the whole family. Vandana is a non-profit project, 100% of profits will be donated to charity. Please check it out at
