Jains Got Talent at the JAINA 2017 Convention
Have a talent you would like to showcase? Whether it’s singing, dancing, magic, comedy or event juggling, register for Jains Got Talent at the upcoming JAINA Convention in Edison, NJ! Visit convention.jaina.org for guidelines and the registration form.

Applications to host the 2018 YJA Convention are now open! Gather a team from your hometown and local Sangh and send in a Bid Packet, available at yja.org/2018 - the deadline is March 31st, 2017! If you have any questions, please email projects@yja.org and get excited for #YJA18!

Registration for the South retreat is open at http://yja.org! If you would be interested in attending the Mid-West, Mid-Atlantic or Southeast retreats but were unable to secure a spot, sign up for the waitlist to be notified in case of a vacancy. We look forward to seeing you!

Youth Activities at the JAINA 2017 Convention

Did you go to YJA 2016? Do you want to meet up with your friends again? JAINA 2017 is the perfect time to do that!  Is it your first time coming to a convention? No problem, we guarantee you will make many new friends and learn about your religion from a unique perspective. We are planning a number of youth specific interactive sessions, panels, and discussions for daytime programming. Come to the convention to explore this year’s theme, Jainism and how it is supported or rejected by science. Stay tuned for more details… but in the meantime, go REGISTER and sign up for Youth Activities during registration!  You won’t want to miss this event.

Regional Coordinators and Local Representatives have been organizing Interfaith Discussions in various cities. Visits to different houses of worship and dialogue with youth belonging to diverse faith communities are an important way to practice the Jain principle of anekantavada, or multiplicity of views, and we hope you’ll check the list of upcoming events and your Regional Facebook groups for an interfaith meetup near you.
