GivingTuesday

To kick off the holiday season, we hope you'll give to YJA during our #givingtuesday campaign. Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and was started as an international day of giving as part of the kickoff for the winter holiday season. After reflecting with friends and family about what we are thankful for, Giving Tuesday provides an opportunity to act to share what we have with others with a donation. Your donations will fund YJA's many educational, social, and service-related activities, which bring youth together to talk about Jain values, practices, and Jainism in our daily lives.

You can donate online any time between now and 11/29 at yja.org/givingtuesday. If you would like to mail a check, please email finance@yja.org. No amount is too small!

Interregional Clothing Drive

YJA's two favorite things are coming together this year-- a little interregional rivalry, and a whole lot of giving-- just in time for the holiday season! From December 5th-19th, YJA will be hosting a clothing drive across the country, with each region trying to facilitate the most Dan (charity) that they can. If you have coats at the back of your closets, or jeans that fit a bit more like jorts (that's jean-shorts, for the less cultured), go ahead and donate them to the closest repository!
