May 4 - YJA Boston Gives Back
YJA will be volunteering this year as stationary marshals on the corner of Commonwealth Ave. and Gloucester St. from 10am-2pm. Come join us for breakfast at 8:30 a.m. at Finagle A Bagel located at 535 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116. After breakfast we can head over to the volunteer check-in area.

May 11 - Mahavir Jayanti Celebrations with Jain Center of America (NYC)
Each year, JCA organizes the Cultural Program to celebrate Mahavir Janam Kalyanak in which hundreds of Jains along with their families from around the Tri State area attend to celebrate the religious festivities. And that's not all: please stop by our YJA booth and say hello! Learn more about YJA and the upcoming convention, or just show us some #yjalove. We hope to see you there!

May 25th - YJA Houston Gets Ultimaniac
Come join YJA Houston at Memorial park at 11 AM to play ultimate! If you've never played before, no worries! Most of us are brand new to the game as well :)

May 18 - Daily Jainism: Ritualistic or Spiritualistic (Southern California)
The Jain Center of Southern California, in conjunction with Jain Association of Young Adults (JAYA), Jain Center Youth Committee (JCYC), Young Jain Professionals, and Young Jains of America present "Daily Jainism: Ritualistic or Spiritualistic," a youth-centered seminar conducted in English by Shrenik Gala. Join us for this wonderful seminar that also is the same weekend as the JCSC Anniversary Program.

JCSC is planning to conduct a job fair and interview training sessions for the benefit of the community. To make sure that we are able to bring those opportunities to you, we would like YOU to take a brief survey. The survey will be anonymous but will help us focus on where the real need of our community lies.

JAINA Academic Scholarship Program (JASP)

JAINA would like to assist bright, hard-working, goal-oriented, practicing Jain youth in North America attend an institution of high learning where s/he can develop her/his skills and talents, and eventually make the community, country and world a better place.

JAINA has started the JAINA Academic Scholarship Program (JSAP), which is offers a $1500 scholarship to 10 candidates. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is May 31st.

Veerayatan International Global Conference

Veerayatan International is hosting a Global Conference in NJ, USA in the weekend (July 11-13, 2014) after the July 4th weekend of 2014 YJA Convention to be held in Washington, D.C.. More than 400 worldwide delegates are expected at the conference! The details of the conference, registration and accommodation information can be found at:
