I am back and very much looking forward to dancing with you this week!
During my vacation, I recharged, rested, played, basked in southern California sunshine and delighted in walking on the beach every day. Below is a photo collage of some of my favorite moments.
During one of these walks, I was reminded of the quote above by Dave Barry and the importance of deep engagement, curiosity and stepping in to experience the fullness of life.
I've returned home inspired and ready to explore, in greater depth, the circus tents of my sacred work. In the Wheel of the Year, August 1st marks Lammas, the beginning of the harvest season. I love to spend this time of year journaling about the seeds I planted earlier this year, if and how they took root, how they've progressed, the lessons I've learned, what must be shed, and what I plan to harvest for the season ahead. As you reflect on the past eight months, what do you plan to release and what do you hope to harvest for the season ahead?
Lammas is also a time of celebration and on that note I came home ready to dance and celebrate entering my 7th year of teaching Nia and 2nd year teaching ArcanaDance in a group format! Squeal!
Join me this Thursday, August 4, 2016 for Nia at 6:00pm at Embrace the Moon in Ballard for my first class back.
