Paris 2015 conference - 8.30 Friday 10th April - 2.30 Sunday 12th April, Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris
"Change and the ecosystem"
- get closer to Paris and to change, innovation and the ecosystem with our world citizens!
Roberto, Rick and Cécile have come up with a truly varied and interactive programme, based on the life of "la Petite Ceinture", an abandoned railway that provides us with a metaphor for growth, decline and regeneration.
Our programme starts early on Friday, exploring Paris and the railway, stopping at a regenerated station cafe and a social innovation lab. We will review learning and current thinking about social innovation and change in the afternoon. In the evening we launch "Unravelling Complexity", the latest Change Leaders' book, at Nomad's
, in central Paris.
On Saturday, we look at social changes such as massive migration, urban growth and change. The afternoon features a new segment, "My City, My Life", featuring 5 cities, and the change issues affecting them. A celebration dinner for the ten years of tCL will be held at Le Procope
, the oldest and one of the most famous restaurants in Paris.
Sunday gives us the chance to review, reflect and plan.
We will learn from Thomas Jorion
, photographer and advocate for La Petite Ceinture; Stephane Vincent
, director of La 27e Region, Laboratoire de Transformation Publique; Dominic Campbell
, expert in social innovation and use of social media in government and David Khoudour-Casteras
, Social Scientist and researcher at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and specialist in mass migrations. We have an urban case study led by Kit Lykketoft and Marie Herberg Krogh of Mindlab
