A Note from the President, Julie Spero

In the February issue of Nourishing Bytes, Nicole wrote about mixing business with pleasure and went on to describe all the fun she and her team have planned for us during our upcoming conference aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach.

If you missed that issue, I suggest you read it here.
This article really sets the stage for a seriously fun event combined with the cutting-edge education we consistently deliver to you.

Because I’m more of a nerd, I really love to geek out on the information presented by our speakers.  First, It’s virtually impossible to decide which session to sit in on during the breakouts, so purchasing the presentation recordings is a must. Not only will you able to listen to all the speakers, but you’ll have the information in your nutrition library for review whenever you need it.

The conference will kick off on Friday with 2 highly sought after keynote speakers and will follow over the next 2 days with renowned speakers presenting therapeutic nutritional approaches to a variety of serious health issues impacting so many people today.  I never fail to discover new approaches and insights that I can take home and use in my practice right away.

In addition, we have 4 inspiring business speakers this year, each addressing different aspects to enhance your practice and your profitability.  The information you’ll learn will help you navigate regulations and clinical settings as well as inspire you to improve and grow your practice.  Personally, I’d much rather focus on nutrition and not worry about the business.  But let’s face it; if we can’t make a good living we won’t be able to continue doing this work and that just isn’t an option for me!

Medical Marijuana
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Medical Marijuana, But Were Afraid to Ask!

April 4th - April 7th.

We’re on the cusp of a major paradigm shift about how to prevent and treat chronic illness. As holistic-leaning modalities garner respect and reach the masses, medical marijuana gains the same traction as a healing modality.

While the science is advancing along with the ground swell of interest and testimonials from consumers, there remains an educational gap among practitioners. Patients nationwide are asking questions about the appropriate use of cannabis, yet most health + wellness practitioners are at a loss to provide credible answers. The search ends! At the Holistic Cannabis Network,™ we provide current, evidence-based cannabis education via an engaging series of learning options.

For everyone in a healing profession, it’s essential to stay relevant in the ever-evolving wellness landscape. Don’t get left on the sidelines as this exciting transition occurs in our society. Be a practitioner who understands and embraces this healing herb. Come join us on this unprecedented journey!

If you know you simply cannot spare the time to devote four days to the Summit, consider purchasing the Summit proceedings to review at your leisure. Even if you intend to listen, having these interviews available for future reference will be invaluable.
