FLOTUS can now add rapping to her repertoire. Earlier this week, she and SNL’s Jay Pharoah produced an A+ music video to promote college—and they may or may not have given U-M a mini shoutout.

The most recent ongoing Supreme Court case on affirmative action, involving the University of Texas, has the potential for wider implications around the nation. U-M has offered to be a test case for what happens when a university is prohibited from considering race in the admissions process—the Washington Post has the story.

Ann Arbor Distilling Company takes #puremichigan to a whole different level, you guys. Located in Kerrytown (of course), A2’s inaugural craft distillery opened this week with a tasting room for visitors to sip on a variety of “homegrown” spirits. Odds are that cocktails here are a bit better than a fishbowl at Charley’s. I mean, maybe. #graintoglass #locallysourced
