Olean Theatre Workshop is a Recipient of a Grant

The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) recently announced the recipients of the 2022 NYSCA Statewide Community Regrant (SCR) funding the Community Arts, Teaching Artist, and Individual Artist grant programs.

The Olean Theatre Workshop, has received $3,400 this year from this grant. We will use this money to fund our "Bringing Theater to Families” project. This grant has been made possible through Statewide Community Regrant funds: public money mandated by the New York State Legislature to encourage increased participation at the local level in the state's cultural funding process. These grants enable artists and organizations to enhance the artistic and cultural climate in our communities, and fulfill a vital mission of The ARTS Council of making arts and culture accessible to all!.

----As part of this grant "Forbidden  Broadway" will be our first production under this grant.
