Fellows and close partners are designing systems approaches to inspiring work around the world including:

* Protecting a Great Lakes watershed from acid mining impacts

2013 Highlights

We held our annual workshop with 25 Fellows and close partners led by Joanna Macy on Active Hope: How to face the mess we're in without going crazyRead the report.

With 116 Fellows and Biomimicry Professionals, we completed our Robert Gass Daily Leadership Practices projectRead the initial report. Further in-depth analysis of the data will be undertaken in 2014.

We have attracted attention from educators and learners from around the world with our free, open-source curriculum Learning from Nature: A Course in BiomimicrySee and use the curriculum.

We held our launch iAct Dialogue for Sustainability webinar on Development and Conservation Conflict with 30 participants from 24 countries. See the interactive summary report.

Stephen Leslie, Sustainable Farming Director, published his book The New Horse-Powered Farm: Tools and Systems for the Small-Scale Sustainable Market Grower in March with Chelsea Green.

Jay Mead, Art of Sustainability Director, created The Forest Within installation for this year's SculptureFest in Woodstock, Vermont. See photos.
