New Vessel Press is pleased to let you know that our books can now be pre-ordered at newvesselpress.com.

The Missing Year of Juan Salvatierra - an Argentine novel of family secrets about art and love by Pedro Mairal - and Cocaine - a dizzying and decadent account of a young man's addiction and downfall in 1920s Paris by Italian author Pitigrilli - will be available in the coming months. Be sure to obtain your copy now with a pre-order.

We're very excited about the debut novel of Israeli film director Shemi Zarhin, whose movie The World is Funny has been a smash hit at festivals around the United States. Zarhin's book Some Day is a compelling, steamy, family saga whose characters are caught between reality and fantasy. Some Day goes on sale in October, but we're accepting pre-orders now.

New Vessel Press is an independent publishing house specializing in the translation of foreign literature into English. Today, only about three percent of the books available in the American marketplace are translations. By bringing
foreign literature and literary non-fiction to readers as ebooks - and providing a convenient print-on-demand option - we offer incredible works at an affordable price. But of course, what matters most is not where the authors hail from, or what language they write in. The most important thing is the quality of the work itself. And hence, our name. We publish great books, just in a new vessel.

Do have a look at our site, check out the excerpts and the free short stories, and read your way around the world with New Vessel Press.
