Dear friends,

I hope you are all well and that you are ready to engage with the upcoming opportunities to build greater accountability in the 2030 Agenda.

I am glad to share with you the report of our survey of members on your views on how to improve the follow up and review processes on the SDGs at national, regional and global level.

You can download the exec summary or the whole report as well as our People’s Scorecard toolkit from our website.

In particular we demand real dialogue with civil society- national consultation processes are not yet sufficiently open, inclusive of all people, participatory and transparent. We also call on governments to make ‘Leave No One Behind’ a higher priority and to enable civil society partners to provide inputs to ‘whole of society’ reviews. There is also a clear demand for greater support for civil society, including resources and capacity development, as well as a need for better links from regional to global level meetings.

We have events at all the UN Regional Sustainable Development Forums happening over coming weeks and we will be promoting these findings there, I hope you can join us!

Please get in touch if you will be at any of the Regional Forums.

Oli Henman, Global Coordinator
