This Month is Custember!

Sorry I coudn't think of a better name

On the track. Made to measure Dainese D-air Racing suit we lovingly crafted for a customer.
At Bike Stop, we’re all about personalised service. And what could be more personalised than your own made to measure leathers. It’s not just about the perfect fit you’ll have either; you get to make all the choices. Always dreamed of having a bright pink suit to match your bright pink ZX10? Ok, maybe not, but you get the idea. You want it, we can make it happen. Then we’ll send your specifications over to Dainese who will draw up the designs, so you can make sure they have captured your vision. And once you’ve got your perfect item, why would you ever want another?
As if it couldn’t get any better, if you order now, you are invited to be measured by Dainese’s own tailor, while you enjoy watching the Brands Hatch round of the BSB from the VIP - on October 19th.
If you’ve ever thought a custom made suit was for you, or you’re just realising it, now is the perfect time to act.

Now that you are enjoying that warm feeling of knowing you are finally treating yourself to the gear that you deserve, why let it end? Did you know that on the first Saturday of each month we have a specialist from ACS in-store to help you with custom moulded earpieces? Whether you’re after a reliable pair of earplugs or the most comfortable pair of headphones you have ever owned, ACS is the way to go. Just ring ahead before your most convenient date then come on down to Bike Stop, have a coffee and a cake and get and get your mould taken – it only takes a few minutes. So give us a call and book your appointment now.
From design to the real thing.
We measured up Steve Parish for his Barry Sheene suit.

Rossi Speeds to Top of Misano Podium

Looking pleased with himself; incidently, in a suit measured up by Dainese's tailor, like yours
Big congratulations are due to Valentino Rossi after his win in San Marino last week, topping the podium for the first time in 15 months and showing everyone he’s still got it.
Rossi believes that if he wasn’t racing to win he wouldn’t be racing at all, and he’s planning on using his next two years to “conquer the world again”.
He said, “I think this year I’m  the best Valentino ever,” and with this win making him the first rider to reach 5000 career points, we’re inclined to agree. Misano was a sea of yellow afterwards;
the atmosphere was absolutely incredible, the 54,000 plus fans were ecstatic to see Rossi take his place on top at home for the first time in 5 years.

For a short time, with any purchase on our website over £150, we’re giving away a free VR46 t-shirt of your choice. All you have to do is choose your style and size and add to your basket and use the code ROSSI2014 at the checkout. We’ve also just added a lot of our casual wear into the end of the sale so get them while you can, they’re going fast!

Are you part of the Club?

We hope you are already aware of the Bike Stop Club Rewards Loyalty Scheme – that’s a mouthful, let’s just call it the Bike Stop Club (better yet, BSC).  Anyway. For those of you not in the know, with the BSC you earn points when you make a purchase and points equal pounds. For each £20 you spend with us you earn one Club Pound worth, surprise surprise, £1 on any future purchase. That’s effectively a 5% discount off our entire range - which is already competitively priced!
When we say entire range, we mean it. Even if you are buying a sale item you will still earn points. And that goes for when it comes time to spend them as well. You can spend Club Pounds on any items, even if you are buying reduced items or using a discount code. Not bad eh? WELL, you can also spend them when you come in-store. To start earning you just need to have registered an account on our website, which you can do here; then point will automatically be added to your account when you go through the checkout. Simple. Super. SAVINGS!

Operation Dainese

or How I Forgot to Pack Bug Spray
Every year an elite unit of the Bike Stop team fly over to Italy with one mission: to find the latest and greatest Dainese has to offer so that we can bring it to you. There was hostile resistance, in the form of nasty, bitey bugs, but the team made it back in one piece. Now, a lot of this information is top secret (if we told, you we’d have to kill you) but what we can tell you is that we are excited. As you would expect from Dainese’s legendary protection (not against bugs though), everything is moving forward: bars are being raised, boundaries are being pushed and
innovations are being…innovated(?).

We have got a fantastic selection to offer in 2015 and you will be the first to hear about it, but for now it’s still a closely guarded secret.
In the meantime, there are still a few bargains to be had in our sale, pnline and in-store, as we try and make a little more room for all the new products – and we’ve just added in some armour as well. You can see what we’ve got left here, and don’t forget that you’ll be earning points on all of them.
Got a tired old jacket that needs to be put to rest? A pair of textile trousers worn down and worn out? Why not trade them in at Bike Stop for 20% off some brand new, fine Rukka clothing. Go on, treat yourself, you deserve nice things.
Just a reminder from our last Newsletter that Dave Hailwood will be presenting at the HBAM's 30th anniversay on the 11th October. Details blow.
In partnership with IAM, we are pleased to support the Herts and Beds Advanced Motorcyclists' (HBAM) 30th Anniversary presentation being given by Dave Hailwood on the
11th October 2014 at Novotel Stevenage.  Tickets will be priced at £10 for advance sales and £12.50 on the door. Bike Stop will be providing raffle prizes of £100 value. Doors at 7.30pm for 8.00pm start and Dave will be bringing a Mike Hailwood Honda RC181 500cc 4 cylinder racer - at some point in the evening he will be firing up the beast!
