Edition 164

I'm really pleased to be able to re-start the league representative teams this summer.

On 20th & 21st August we have an U13/14 2-day, 2 innings match v NEC Rep XI at Banstead CC.

We will be looking to select 12 players, ideally from a range of clubs for that game. Current Surrey Performance players are not permitted as Surrey Cricket will be using this game for some additional talent ID which is exciting for those involved.

Prior to that, we will be looking to take part in the G-Force Cricket T20 Festivals at Epsom College.

U15 Sat 7th July & Sun 8th July, U13 Sat 14th & Sun 15th July, U11 Sat 21st July & Sun 22nd July

I know some of the older players will have adult cricket commitments on the Saturday but we hope they will still be able to take part in this as a one-off.  The U15 & U13 festivals will acts as a trial for selection into the 2-day game.

The plan is for 4 matches for each team across each festival, 2 each day with a Saturday morning match then lunch at the college and a match early afternoon. On the Sunday we will have matches in the afternoon and early evening so anyone who has morning commitments with your club can still fulfil those.

Please let me know if you would like to nominate any players and some details about them, including ideally some performance stats if you have them on Play-Cricket.  I am hoping to get squads together in the next 2 weeks.

Have a good week.
