Cherry Point Coal Terminal public comment period deadline near

January 21st is the deadline to get comments in on the proposed Cherry Point Coal Terminal and its related train traffic.  Letters may be addressed to Mr. Randel Perry U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District and emailed to  Ginny Wolfe will be sharing tips on how to write an effective letter on Monday, January 14th at 6pm at Sarai Stevens' home on Barrell Springs Rd.  If interested in attending contact Sarai at or call 724-0392.

The event, hosted by Stanwood FFA .  Classes cover a variety of topics, including livestock, gardening, beekeeping, food preparation and preservation, business aspects of small-scale farming, the pleasures of country living and more. A total of 45 new classes have been added.
