We invite females involved in the Capital Coast SLS movement to come along to our first Women in Lifesaving information evening!
Monday, December 21, 2020 at 6:30pm
Royal New Zealand Police College, 24 Papakowhai Road, Porirua, 5024
Nippers, parents, lifeguards, athletes - ladies, no matter your involvement in your club you are welcome to join the discussion about what we love about surf lifesaving, what barriers we face and what our clubs could put in place to make lifesaving even more enjoyable.
Along with some interactive brainstorming sessions, the night will include several female guest speakers who will share their surf club journeys and their professional and personal experiences with diversity plus some challenges they've faced.
Light supper will be provided, but we need to know numbers for catering purposes so please RSVP via our Facebook event or by emailing titahibayslsc@gmail.com to request tickets.
The event is FREE to attend, however we are working with Kura Street Kai, a local food pantry. A box will be available on the night to deposit food donations.
