Remembering Morton Deutsch

Please join us to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Morton Deutsch, Pioneer in Conflict Resolution, Cooperative Learning and Social Justice

Friday, April 14th 2017
4 - 6 PM   Celebration of his life with tributes
6 - 7 PM   Reception 

The memorial will be held in Milbank Chapel with a reception to follow in the Trustees Room in Zankel Hall at Teachers College.

A few of Mort's former students will share their tributes and we will welcome additional stories from attendees.  We will be showing a slideshow of his life in pictures and welcome submissions; please email any photographs you'd like to be included to Danielle Coon at MD-ICCCR.

A permanent space will be dedicated on our website for tributes to Dr. Deutsch.  If you'd like to submit a dedication, please email it to Drew Pham.  Kindly limit your submission to 300 words in order to ensure enough space for all submissions. 

Dr. Deutsch's contributions were many, as detailed by the New York Times here and by Teachers College here.  We look forward to sharing stories and fellowship together with the global community that he built.  The event will be video recorded for those unable to attend in person.
