Since we have a democratic product development process (as much as we can, given that we're also running a business), we hear many requests for certain products. But none has been so persistent and consistent as for shower gel / body wash / liquid soap.
So we've decided to try an experiment here at Outlaw Soaps: Crowdfunding product development. If you want to read all about the reasoning behind these crowdfunding campaigns, I wrote a blog post about it.
But the facts are these:
1. we know you want it
2. we want to make it
3. nothing should get in the way of this beautiful union
So rather than hang out with our hands in our pockets waiting for magic money from heaven, we decided to see if you wanted to be our unofficial partners in this product development. Thank you for being on this adventure with us.
The Blazing Saddles Collection
Smell like you walked off the set of A Fistful of Dollars for a fistful of dollars.
Leather, Gunpowder, Sandalwood
If there was an official smell of the Wild West, this would be it. Blazing Saddles smells like you just walked off the set of a Western movie. It smells like you're fresh out of the saddle, the surviving party in an all-out gunfight on the trail. It smells like you've just ridden into town and you're looking for action... and you're not really particular on the kind of action, either.
If you love the leathery scent of Blazing Saddles soap, bring that subtle smell with you everywhere.
And hey! We learned some stuff about products you want!
Yep, that went hella fast. And then people also wrote asking about when The Gambler beard balm was going to be out, and then also when we were going to make more. Because apparently if there's one thing we're sure you want, it's to smell like a goddamn American hero 100% of the time.
I am happy to report that we're working on more batches of that magical stuff. If you were among the lucky recipients of said balm, would you please let us know how you like it?
The Fire in the Hole Collection
Explosively awesome, just like you!
Campfire, Gunpowder, Sagebrush, and general wildness.
Fire in the Hole officially smells like campfire, gunpowder, and whiskey (in other words, like a really great camping trip).
It unofficially smells like insanity, excitement, and overwhelming joy. It looks like fire. It is, in my estimation, the most effing awesomest soap ever in the history of ever.
