In many vulnerable communities across the globe, limited access to clean water exacerbates poverty and perpetuates significant challenges—including disease, food insecurity and poor nutrition.     
Staggeringly, this is the case for one in nine people worldwide.
On World Water Day, we pray for communities suffering from inadequate access to clean water.
Vayiness Kawonga of Malawi once struggled to collect enough water for her family. Support for PWS&D’s water, sanitation and hygiene project helped build a well closer to her home—and it has transformed her life in more ways than one. Read her story!

Aurelia Jimenez, an indigenous woman from Guatemala, has endured discrimination and poverty all her life. But with support from PWS&D and local partners, she is advocating for herself and making a difference for her family.

Spring into Song—an initiative of Canadian Foodgrains Bank—is a series of concerts held across Canada in support of the Good Soil advocacy campaign. This event helps small-scale farmers receive support to better their lives. Learn more!
