I am excited to announce that we have met our latest goal of 550! Our "Fishing for 550" campaign was a smaller goal that was established in order to help increase momentum as we continue moving closer to our next big goal.
As a way to meet with our new and existing owners (and celebrate another successful campaign) we will be holding an event at Hop & Barrel (310 2nd Street) on July 26th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Stop by to mingle with the HGC board and hear more about how we are progressing towards our plan to open a grocery co-op in Hudson!
It is also Live Music Night at Hop & Barrel Brewing. The music starts at 7 p.m.

Co-op Farm Tour on July 14
The annual Co-op Farm Tour is a great way to visit farms who supply local co-ops with fresh produce. Save the date for the Co-op Farm Tour on July 14! Over 30 local farms will open their barn doors to the public for tours, tastings and activities. The tour is a self-guided event and free for anyone to attend. Volunteers Needed for Marketing Communications
HGC needs your help with our marketing and communications efforts. We are looking for volunteers to write articles for the Beet newsletter, update the website blog, provide content and post updates on Facebook, and re-stock brochures at various business locations. If you enjoy event planning, we can use your help with set-up for our table displays at various community events. Volunteers Needed for RiverFest
Hudson’s annual St. Croix RiverFest celebration is set for July 17-22. HGC will be hosting an informational table during the Thursday, July 19th St. Croix Valley Community Band Concert at Lakefront Park Bandshell.
