March 2014
Open House Information
The celebration begins with a social at 5:00 p.m., when everyone can mingle and enjoy appetizers, beer, wine, and other beverages. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a short presentation that will include an update on HGC’s efforts to open a cooperative grocery store in downtown Hudson, followed by a question-and-answer session. A drawing for door prizes will take place for those present after the Q & A.

This event is free and open to all—those who’ve already joined, those considering joining, and anyone who’s interested in learning more about opening a grocery co-op in Hudson. Current owners are encouraged to invite their friends and acquaintances. New HGC t-shirts will be available for sale, featuring a new design for 2014. This promises to be a fun evening, and everyone is warmly welcomed to help grow this co-op.
New! Monthly HGC Volunteer Opportunity
Short on time but still want to help grow a co-op?
HGC will now have a recurring volunteer event on the second Saturday of every month. Volunteers will meet at 10 am to pass out flyers, business cards, and posters to local businesses and organizations. The first event will meet June 14th at 10 am at 701 2nd Street, downtown Hudson.
