March 2014
MEMBER-OWNER & AMBASSADOR MISSION
It's up to YOU to get TWO!

Our co-op has set a goal of reaching 300 member-owners by March 31. Why?
  • At 300 member-owners the HGC can begin the commissioning of a market analysis that will define details such as store size and identify possible and optimal locations.
  • Then, at 600 member-owners, the commissioning of a full, detailed business start-up plan can begin. This report will become the roadmap for the HGC to open, operate and flourish and guides the management for the first five years of operation.
Thank you for helping us reach almost 200 co-op member-owners!
By you helping us gather two more members, we are that much closer to our co-op goal!
Co-op talking points, membership information and more co-op news can all be found on our website.

Board Members Attend a Co-op Conference for Development, Management and Sustainable Access to Healthy Food
On February 27th through March 1st, two Hudson Grocery Co-op board members had the opportunity to attend the Up and Coming, Up and Running conference held in Bloomington, Indiana.  Hundreds of individuals from dozens of start-up co-ops came together to learn from industry experts, share stories and suggestions. In co-op spirit the conference attendees welcomed the delicious lunches prepared by Bloomingfoods Market & Deli, the town’s grocery co-op which opened in 1976.
