Welcome back to another busy year.  You may have already noticed our new look website.  If you haven't seen it - get to it and check it out!  It looks fantastic.

We have hit the ground running as usual after a nice Christmas break.  Paula is in the office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and Lisa is in Wednesday and Friday.

Update on fuel nozzle advertising

The second campaign of the Red Guide Post fuel nozzle advertising (with new creatives) ran from 21st December 2014 until 1st February 2015.   The third campaign is scheduled to run from 22nd March 2015 until 2nd May 15.   Any feedback on the creatives or from the general public please email through to Paula & Lisa.

Hawkweed ID Alert

Mouse-ear hawkweed (Hieracium pilosella) is an invasive perennial herb in the daisy (Asteraceae) family. It is native to Europe and Asia but now occurs as a serious weed in New Zealand, Canada and USA. It is one of several Hieracium species, including orange hawkweed (Hieracium aurantiacum), now present in Australia.

DEPI Victoria YouTube Clips

DEPI Vic have done a fantastic job in producing some short You Tube clips to assist  the public in identification of some of their State prohibited (Cat 1) weeds.  The clips produced are: Salvinia, Mexican feather grass, Horsetails, Water hyacinth, Alligator weed, Hawkweed.

NSW WeedWise

NSW WeedWise presents information for over 300 noxious and environmental weeds in NSW, including Profiles, Control (including herbicide options) and Legal requirements (under the Noxious Weeds Act 1993). NSW WeedWise replaces the noxious weeds declaration database and species profiles pages on the NSW DPI weeds website.

NSW WeedWise can be accessed as web pages or as a smartphone app
