Hi <<First Name>>

Just a quick update from The Netherlands, where -after some stress caused by Ryanair's pilot strike- we've finally managed to reach our families!

Nick is in the city of Venlo celebrating our cousin's first birthday and the yearly 'Zomerparkfeest' ('Summer Park Party'). His group of friends also organised their famous 'Vaderbarbecue' ('Dad's Barbecue'), where the boys don't turn their fathers into hamburgers, but instead enjoy them together (photo below). How cool is that?!

While Nick is partying, I'm in Amsterdam with my parents going around like a tornado, cleaning bathrooms, windows and working in the garden (photo below). As I'm not around to help very often, it feels good to be able to sometimes come over and tackle some of the bigger tasks for them!

At the end of today, Nick and I are reuniting at Eindhoven Airport and fly back to London together. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly, because tomorrow, I have to turn up at the airport once again for a trip to Germany. I'll tell you all about it on social media during the week and in this newsletter next Sunday.

But first, we're firing up the barbecue here in Amsterdam around lunchtime, to enjoy the last few hours together with family during this flash visit. Hope you have a great weekend too!

Take care for now,

Enjoy the following reads that I collected for you from all around the internet:
