RORC Caribbean 600
21-25 February, 2022
This year the 2022 RORC Caribbean 600 attracted 74 teams with 738 sailors from 32 different nations. The Royal Ocean Racing Club’s Caribbean classic is back with one of the most impressive fleets in the 14-year history of the race. Moderate trade winds faded to a lighter breeze during the five days of the race and competition was sizzling right through the IRC Classes.
Swan yachts racing this year include the Swan 60 Lee Overlay Partners II, skippered by Adrian Lee, ClubSwan 125 Skorpios skippered by Fernando Echavarri, the classic S&S Swan 48 Montana, skippered by Markus Bocks and Todd Stuart’s Swan 80 White Rhino.

With an overall attendance of 80 yachts, four Swans will participate in the 42nd edition of this popular regatta. Among them the brand-new Swan 58 OM II.

An event conceived and hosted purely for the pleasure and enjoyment of the sailing superyacht owner.

The regatta is part of the SWAN MAXI SERIES.

Thirty-six entrants in Rolex Swan Cup
Porto Cervo, 11-18 September 2022
Swans from around the world will gather at the Yacht Club Costa Smerelda in Porto Cervo later this year.
Hendrik Brandis, owner of the ClubSwan50 Earlybird, looks back on early memories of the Rolex Swan Cup back in 2006.

Swan 120 Audrey the First leaves Badalona
Swan 120-001 is leaving NSGS Badalona yard after a month of service to be fully ready for the upcoming summer season.
Winter maintenance plan had been split between the two NSGS service yards in Badalona and Scarlino.

Welcome to the yard, IMOCA 60!
IMOCA 60 arrived to NSGS Badalona yard facilities last week. The first jobs performed have been: un-step the mast and remove the keel. Check the highly coordinated
operation for lifting the boat!
In the background of this yacht, it is worth mentioning that this was the first boat to be built eco-efficiently. This means that it is the first yacht in its class to be 100% sustainable
and self-sufficient, requiring no fossil fuels throughout its lifetime. Last but not least, this Imoca 60 participated on 2012-13 Vendée Globe

CS 50 Olymp Refit in Badalona Yard
During recent months, racing yacht Olymp has been out of the water in NSGS Badalona facilities, having significant improvements done.
The main jobs on the list can be summarised as: teak deck replacement, hull and deck full paint job and composite works.
At the moment, we are in the final stages of the project, soon the tent will be removed and Olymp will be back on the racing track! Stay tuned for the refit overview next month!
