Swan One Design Worlds

Four days of thrilling competition at the Real Club Nautico de Valencia have animated the 34 crews competing for the World Championship.
ClubSwan 50 Cuordileone representing Italy, ClubSwan 36 Mamao for Brazil and ClubSwan 42 Nadir for Spain were the three world champions for the 2022 Swan One Design season.
In the Best-Placed Nations standings at the Swan One Design Worlds, Italy and Germany are tied at the top with 28 points each thanks to the heroics of Cuordileone and Drifter Sail, and Earlybird and Hatari, for their respective countries. Nadir and the ClubSwan 42 Pez De Abril helped Spain into third place.

The Nations League Med - Copa del Rey

- Prestigious Copa del Rey marks its 40th edition with 100-plus entries
- Swan one-designs and cruisers make up almost half the fleet
- Regatta is penultimate event in Nations League competition
The ClubSwan Racing one-design fleet will be front and centre when it takes its place at the heart of the 40th edition of Spain’s prestigious royal regatta, the Copa del Rey, from August 1-6.
A total of 32 one-design Swan yachts will be competing in the ClubSwan 36, ClubSwan 42 and ClubSwan 50 classes, while a further seven Swan yachts, including one of the new Swan 58 range, have the potential to excel in two of the open rating classes.
The highly competitive event held in the Bay of Palma is one of the highlights of the Mediterranean racing season and – like the ClubSwan Racing circuit itself – attracts world class professional racers who crew alongside passionate and enthusiastic Corinthian sailors.
Hosted by the exclusive Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP), the Copa del Rey also marks the penultimate event in the season-long Nations League competition, with no fewer than 13 nations represented.

This popular South Coast regatta based in Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, counted a fleet of 180 boats.
Great result for Swan 36 ANNA MAI taking 1st place in IRC 4 Class.
Cowes week (30 July – 5 August)
Cowes Week is an eclectic mix of challenging racing as well as a thriving social scene.
S&S Swan 36 Scherzo and Swan 48 Sleeper X are competing in IRC Class, while in Performance Cruiser class there are Swan 65 Desperado and Swan 411 Kiswala.

Almost ninety yachts registered for Rolex Swan Cup 2022
Porto Cervo, 11-18 September 2022
The Swan 82 Kallima is registered to take part in the Rolex Swan Cup later this year. It will be the first time in current ownership she has competed in the regatta.
Kallima placed 4th in the Maxi Class at Palma Vela this year, and in September, she'll join the fleet of Swan Yachts for the Rolex Swan Cup, as well as competing in Les Voiles de Saint Tropez in October.
"We do not doubt that the Rolex Swan Cup will be a fantastic spectacle in Porto Cervo. Still, we consider it a rare opportunity to sail against similar competitors (Swan boats, amateur crew, owner-drivers, etc.). When did you decide to buy a boat and why did you choose Nautor’s Swan?
We had another boat with which we had done a transatlantic crossing, but the time came when we needed more space so I started looking into a Swan model that I had fallen in love with: the 60-footer. I went to visit the first 60-footers that were for sale in Scarlino. Right away, a blue 60-footer – Fiamma – caught my eye. It seemed to be perfectly aligned with our needs. The problem was that it was a boat designed for racing, so it had a bulbous bow that went deep into the water. I decided to continue my research. One thing was certain, I wanted a 60-footer.

August is already here and day by day the summer is passing, while our owners and Swan enthusiasts are enjoying themselves on the water.
We’re finishing a record-breaking season of commissioning and familiarization with our team in Finland assisting all the boats setting sail to their final destinations.
Meanwhile the existing fleet of Swans are sailing everywhere, like the S&S 40 Hanhi (history below) on her 50th birthday!, and NSGS providing assistance as well.
From here, we want to wish the best winds for summer holiday sailing for all of you. Rest-assured, the NSGS team are still on duty and here to assist with whatever you need.

Swan 77-009 Tugela
Tugela, has been back at the yard following several years of successful and very enjoyable cruising. The NSGS Systems department performed a rudder bearing replacement in a very condensed time-frame available between sailing periods. She is now back sailing with the rudder system back in service and ready for the next years of cruising. We hope to see Tugela back soon in our Yard.

After almost five years since the last refit at our Badalona facilities during which time she has been around the world, Leonara is back with us, and we cannot be happier to host this yacht and her crew again.
We have been following and servicing the yacht all around the world, but having her back ‘home’ is a special moment for all of us.

During the past month, on his way south from Pietarsaari, Julián, from the commissioning and technical advice team, stopped by Helsinki to assist Swan 40 Sparkman & Stephen Hanhi, just before the summer season.
