Nautor's Swan unveils its new image

Nautor’s Swan will become Nautor Swan when the iconic yacht company reveals its new brand identity at Cannes Yachting Festival next month.
Since the brand was born in 1966, it has embodied Performance, Innovation, Quality, Elegance, and Reliability. These values are embedded in the brand’s DNA and are reflected in the logo with its clean and elegant rectangular shape. From 1988 when Leonardo Ferragamo bought the yard, Nautor began its journey to becoming an international 360° brand that accompanies its clients throughout their yachting journey.
With the support of creative agency, M&C Saatchi, the Nautor Swan logo comes of age. The new design follows a natural evolution of the brand, adopting a more contemporary and dynamic font and colour, and featuring a more current typographical approach. While remaining true to the Nautor Swan heritage, the brand identity that will emerge remains consistent and representative of the company’s values

The iconic swan – the bird – that has featured within the logo since 1966 will become subject to a separate new redesign project led by aspiring young designers from top international universities.
Nautor Swan will take under its wing: the Swan yachts division, the build of the brand’s iconic models, and ClubSwan that provides dedicated services to Swan Owners.

The strategy behind the rebranding has been strengthen by the new visual of the advertising campaign, with a new claim which is the essence of the brand DNA, carrying the promise of always representing the spirit of sailing through the perpetual search for improved quality and uncompromising reliability:

A Swan is A Swan.

Nautor's Swan Polo Team at Polo for the Cure 2022

Our Polo Team participated in the first all women’s Polo tournament in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the fight against breast cancer and gained second place.

Ginevra Visconti, the team manager, commented: “It was a very close match until the last second, between two teams with top-level players. We had bad luck with a couple of missed goals and a penalty not whistled that could have turned into the winning goal. As a great polo player, Paul Pieres, who always inspires me, says “only one wins”. However, for us it was a great victory to have been able to participate in an event where polo is finally not only sport and glamour, but also a way to raise funds for important causes, in this case for breast cancer research. KOMEN is achieving tremendous results”.

"We do not doubt that the Rolex Swan Cup will be a fantastic spectacle in Porto Cervo. Still, we consider it a rare opportunity to sail against similar competitors (Swan boats, amateur crew, owner-drivers, etc.). Dreaming in Red

Andrea Costa and Letizia Bellini sound like a single voice when they talk about their Cigno Rosso

When did you decide to buy a boat and why did you choose Nautor’s Swan?

We had another boat with which we had done a transatlantic crossing, but the time came when we needed more space so I started looking into a Swan model that I had fallen in love with: the 60-footer. I went to visit the first 60-footers that were for sale in Scarlino. Right away, a blue 60-footer – Fiamma – caught my eye. It seemed to be perfectly aligned with our needs. The problem was that it was a boat designed for racing, so it had a bulbous bow that went deep into the water. I decided to continue my research. One thing was certain, I wanted a 60-footer.

August is already here and day by day the summer is passing, while our owners and Swan enthusiasts are enjoying themselves on the water.
We’re finishing a record-breaking season of commissioning and familiarization with our team in Finland assisting all the boats setting sail to their final destinations.
Meanwhile the existing fleet of Swans are sailing everywhere, like the S&S 40 Hanhi (history below) on her 50th birthday!, and NSGS providing assistance as well.
From here, we want to wish the best winds for summer holiday sailing for all of you. Rest-assured, the NSGS team are still on duty and here to assist with whatever you need.

Fair winds, NSGS team

Swan 77-009 Tugela

Tugela, has been back at the yard following several years of successful and very enjoyable cruising. The NSGS Systems department performed a rudder bearing replacement in a very condensed time-frame available between sailing periods. She is now back sailing with the rudder system back in service and ready for the next years of cruising. We hope to see Tugela back soon in our Yard.
Captain testimonial: “What I can say about our experience at the Nautor Badalona shipyard is that it has been a very efficient and professional operation. We had limited time to repair our rudder. The job was not easy but the team found solutions to first make a temporary repair in time to save our cruising program. The crew appreciated the help to find a place to stay and the bicycle at our disposal. Being close to Barcelona is great. Thanks to all at the Badalona’s shipyard” Olivier, Captain S/Y Tugela.

Swan 601-005 / FLOW

Like the last edition of the Rolex Swan Cup, Flow will be present once again this year and she is getting ready lfor racing at NSGS Badalona. The Rigging department and Composite team were working on the mast and rigging.

Swan 90-706 / LEONARA

After almost five years since the last refit at our Badalona facilities during which time she has been around the world, Leonara is back with us, and we cannot be happier to host this yacht and her crew again.
We have been following and servicing the yacht all around the world, but having her back ‘home’ is a special moment for all of us.

S&S Swan 40 / HANHI

During the past month, on his way south from Pietarsaari, Julián, from the commissioning and technical advice team, stopped by Helsinki to assist Swan 40 Sparkman & Stephen Hanhi, just before the summer season. For Nautor Swan Global Service and Nautor’s Swan Heritage taking care of these classic Swans is of paramount importance. are always available for any spare part or technical advice needed.
What a pleasure to work hand-in-hand with the proud owners of such well-maintained and beautiful yachts! Hanhi is celebrating her 50th anniversary and still in the same shape as when she was launched.
