Empowering children and teens to embrace and express their inherent divinity.

Director's Note

"The height of the tree is determined by the depth of the roots."  I think this perfectly sums up our Soul School children and teens and the amazing job they did last Sunday.  They took our UNS congregation to great heights by sharing the depth of their spiritual understanding, their love, and their talent.  The hours spent in creation and rehearsal were hours well spent, and I am so proud of all of our students, teachers, and families for the gift they gave to our congregation.  The adults in our spiritual community are always so impressed by the poise and expressiveness of our young people, and by their take on spiritual principles.  Our children are deeply rooted in Unity, and the lessons and concepts we share each week in Soul School are making a real difference in their lives.  The hour we spend together each Sunday is golden, and we at Unity on the North Shore are blessed beyond words.

So many people asked for a transcript of the beautiful "Dancing in the Chao" meditation written by Piper Dooley, I am sharing it here.  Click Meditation.

Looking for Summer Cool Specialists:  During the summer months, we offer a different cool, interactive class each week for our K-8th grade students.  Will it be Art?  Yoga? Puppetry?  Music?  Dance?  Cooking?  Acting?  Crafts?  Gardening?  It all depends on our Summer Cool Specialists!  What engaging hobby or activity can you share with our Soul School one Sunday this summer?  Do you know someone with an activity they could share?  Contact Kate or look for the sign up sheet in the Atrium in May.

This Week's Angel Affirmation:  "The height of the tree is determined by the depth of the roots."

Blessings,
