FutureBeef update
Hi <<First name>>

The FutureBeef Program for Northern Australia is a coordinated partnership between the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF Queensland), Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry and Fisheries (DPIF), Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA). The work we do is driven by the National Beef Production Research, Development and Extension Strategy.

Each month, the FutureBeef update will bring you high quality, research based information about key production and land management decisions to help beef businesses become more competitive and sustainable.

In this update, we are excited to feature the brand new and free Stocktake Plus app! It is a practical, work-anywhere (even outside mobile range) decision support tool. The app is available at or via the Apple and Android app stores. Since the launch on 19 April, 416 users have registered!

Two Producer Demonstration Sites (PDS) have been completed recently. Spend some time reading about the learnings from the Leopold Downs PDS in Western Australia and the southern inland Queensland Leucaena project.

Many visitors from the community attended the annual Farm and Garden Day, when Katherine Research Station opened up their gates to showcase the diversity of agriculture in the Northern Territory.

We'd still love to hear from you so please email us to let us know what you think! Feedback and suggestions for content are always welcome.

Happy reading!
