The Mikado is a comic opera in two acts, with music by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W. S. Gilbert. PiPE DREAM performed The Mikado in August of 2010; almost three years ago! This year’s version will be revamped with a few reprising their roles, and some entirely new cast set with a deliciously steampunk twist. Fans will fly and laughs will echo throughout this witty favorite. You’ve never seen The Mikado like this!

The show will open Friday, June 14th and will be performed four times through June 16th. Stay tuned for more information about this PiPE DREAM favorite!

Cinema Macabre 2:
The Revenge... or something

Fans of last year’s Cinema Macabre event, featuring the wildly popular Masque of the Red Death, will be happy to know that PiPE DREAM begins filming for next year’s event this weekend! This year’s movie will be a collection of three short films. Each film will be independent of the rest, allowing for three completely different feeling stories to be told within the short feature. Stay tuned to future newsletters for more information and behind the scenes photos and interviews!

Did You Miss This Too??

A special thanks to all the DREAMers who came out to support the one act play Nobody's Bones written by Heather McCuen and directed by our own Liz Muller!  The show starred PDt favorites, Kim Ceccotti, Jenn Aviles, and  Amanda Teneriello.  It also starred 2 new faces,  Justyn Skylar Bougeno and Warren Bub.  Everyone involved did a great job!  Special thanks to Kevin Hurley, Stephanie Goldman, and Kaitlin Noble for their above and beyond help.
