Community Center Building - Initial Planning Stage

A Community Center building is proposed on the current site of the Toll Brothers temporary offices at 23053 E. Rockinghorse Parkway. The building would house District management offices, a maintenance garage, and a community presentation / training room capable of accommodating up to 100 people for community resident meetings or other gatherings. The level of finish will be similar to that of a fire station or similar municipal utility building.

A new resident committee to provide input on the specifications is being formed with residents who are nominated by the Board and have relevant experience in public facility planning, design and construction. Conceptual building drawings and site plans have been created to guide initial planning discussions with the City of Aurora. Many changes will be made to the plans as the process moves along. Residents are able to attend the committee meetings once they are scheduled.

Fence Staining in Filing 8

Fence staining will begin soon on common area fences in the areas within Filing 8, circled in red on the map below. The fence portions facing common area open space will be power washed and stained. The District is responsible for staining the outside and top of the fence. The inside of the fence is the responsibility of the homeowner, it does not need to be re-stained at any specific time. If you would like to hire the vendor to stain the inside portion of the fence, you may contact Jake Simcoe for pricing at 720-442-0563.
While our contractor makes every effort to protect surfaces from stain, please move or cover any valuable items near the fence line until fence staining is complete.

A Few Photos From Our Spring Fling Egg Hunt

We enjoyed all the smiling faces at our egg hunt event on Saturday! The weather was brisk but the feelings were warm. We had almost 300 children signed up and ran six egg hunts with a total of 1,800 eggs and 100 prizes. Thank you to everyone who participated and to our volunteers for helping make it a successful event. See you again next spring!
