Dear C4G Family,
In the past 11 years we have achieved great things together: we've created a community of cyclists that has been able to raise over USD 2.5 million in funds - contributing to improve the lives of over 15,000 children in Gaza. The dedication of our participants who train tirelessly and cycle 400km in 4 days every year to make a difference, as well as our supporters and donors around the world, has made an enormous impact.
While today the world is in a lock down, it is impossible for us to cycle our way through different parts of the world to raise funds for the development of sustainable health and education projects and to create awareness of the reality on the ground in the Gaza Strip. Nevertheless, this year we continue to move forward in showing our support and solidarity with the people of Gaza from our homes.
The number one priority
is the safety of the population, and we can all help achieve that. The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF
) is working with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization
to identify interventions that they can do now to help prepare, prevent and treat people who are infected with the terrible disease. One such urgent
need is portable x-ray machines
, which will be able to be moved into locations where people are under quarantine and to help diagnose and treat
By making a tax-deductible donation
you are helping to bring into Gaza portable x-ray machines as well as other solutions that will help prepare and prevent the risk of infection
for the people under quarantine. Please donate through this link
Last year, we all came together and successfully raised USD280,000 in funds, by cycling and highlighting the freedom of movement that the people of Gaza have been forcefully denied. This year, let’s come together and show our support and cooperation once again in raising much needed funds, reminding ourselves that for the people of Gaza the challenge the world is currently facing takes place under very difficult circumstances.
Let’s ‘move’ together to make a difference!
