Show your support for TexQuest with our new  logo. Libraries, schools, and/or districts access TexQuest resources in a variety of ways.  Many users are familiar with the content providers, but not our name.  When you join TexQuest Year 2, please share your commitment to state supported resources for Texas K-12 school communities by adding this logo to your campus and district web pages - no matter what method your patrons use to access these resources. Continue to links for two versions of this new logo.
Less than two months until B-day. Britannica becomes a part of your TexQuest resources on June 15.  When your district pays the Year 2 invoice, an e-mail with your default passwords, access to training webinars, and a link to customize Britannica access information is sent to your district's primary and library contacts. Contact TexQuest Support if you need this information or help customizing multiple campuses. Continue for information on Britannica access and initial training opportunities or click here to directly access the Britannica TexQuest Customization Form.
TexQuest training may be coming to an Educational Service Center near you. Trainers from Gale and Britannica, as well as ESC-20, TexQuest's education partner, will share how to use and integrate TexQuest resources with librarians, technologists, and curriculum leaders at ESCs all over Texas. The TexQuest Training Calendar is updated continuously with face to face and online training opportunities. Select "agenda" to see this calendar as a list. Gale and Britannica may also provide a limited number of district training opportunities. To see if your district could qualify, access the TexQuest Training Request Form.

Are you ready for Research? Librarians tell us that this is a busy time for class research, and many teachers are looking for lists of topics to get their students started.  Gale's Students Resources in Context has a comprehensive list of topics on their home page (check out the list of Social Issues) for many secondary subjects, and Kids Infobits gives elementary learners the opportunity to drill down to topics through picture icons. Continue to the Gale Support Page for resources to connect your patrons directly to these databases. Share creative assignments and research suggestions with other TexQuest users by submitting an IPA and including links to student examples.

Share TexQuest X-Press with your colleagues. Tell your faculty patrons to sign up for these links to what's new in TexQuest products and promotions.  Continue to access archived issues or sign up.
