  • I Just Signed Up for TexQuest, Now What (11/18/15; 3:00 PM, CST), designed for beginning TexQuest librarians/instructional technologists, will review the online TexQuest Implementation Action Plan.
  • TexQuest Year 2: These Ain't Your Momma's Databases  (11/19/15; 9:00 AM, CST), will review addition/changes to the TexQuest Resources for experience TexQuest district/school contacts, and review the online Action Items for Year 2 Implementation.

Gale needs participants to record a webinar on Kids InfoBits just for TexQuest. This webinar (11/20/15; 3:00 PM CST), will become part of the DIY resources for TexQuest educators, and they need live participation from TexQuest elementary librarians and teachers. If you and/or your elementary teachers would like to learn more about this comprehensive resource for elementary students, continue here to register.
TexQuest users are excited about Gale's partnership with GoogleGale continues to add Google functions to individual resources, so keep track of the changes on We have posted the current status of the databases that have Google integration, along with resources from Gale, the TexQuest Support Center, and TexQuest users about how to use the Gale resources, as well as how to save resources from other TexQuest providers as Google docs in your drive. Continue here for more information on this exciting development.
TexQuest now has a customizable bookmark. The State Library has updated the TexQuest bookmark so that you can add your school/district user names and passwords, and print your own copies. Easy access is imperative if we want students and teachers to use these valuable resources. Customizing your user names and passwords is the first step.
