News and Updates
from the Leather Archives & Museum

We hope each of you is healthy and well during this challenging time. Here at LAM, we are focused on the most essential tasks of preserving and maintaining our archival collections so that our history is not lost. Our staff is using this time to develop more virtual content so that you can continue to connect with us while we are closed. They are processing collections, developing educational programming, conducting oral history interviews, and creating new online exhibitions. Be sure to follow us on our social media accounts (FB, IG, Twitter, and YouTube) to catch the most up-to-date happenings!
Virtual Kink U Classes Online Now
LA&M is working with the Titans of the Midwest to develop and deliver a series of online kink education courses on a variety of topics. These classes are offered throughout the week via Zoom, lasting for about an hour. You can get the links and schedules on our LA&M Facebook page or Instagram account to participate live.

If you miss any of the classes, they are recorded and available on your Youtube channel. Note that in order to view them, you will need to log into YouTube, as they are age-restricted. Check them out here:

Leather Speaks with Leslie Anderson

Each week, leather preservationist Leslie Anderson is presenting a live FB discussion on some aspect of leather history and culture, built around her work on caring for our history in the archives. Each conversation digs into a fascinating aspect of the individuals and organizations that came before us and helped to build community. You can catch them on Leslie's FB page, or recorded and shared on the L:A&M FB page.
