This Sunday is the annual service of Remembrance when we honour those who have served in the Armed Forces of our country.  This year, Daniel Mills, Executive Director of the Kamloops Symphony will be trumpeter and we will be joined by the Kamloops Choir, the Bells of Note handbell choir and the KUC choral scholars.  Tomas Bijok, KUC music director will be coordinating the music.   Dr. Caveney will be preaching.

Congregational Visioning
We want to thank everyone who joined us last week for our Congregational Visioning.  One hundred people, in person and online, gave their input into the process which will help us determine our congregations future. Led by Council Circle members Marcia and Nina, we considered the things we were doing that we wanted to continue, those that we wanted to stop or modify and then our dreams of new things. Finally, we were all invited to fill out a card stating what the Spirit was saying to us this morning. After, we had a great lunch together. Thank you to everyone for your great input.

Service of Remembering
This is a great article on why we need to observe and mark the passing of our loved ones with rituals and services:  Grief Article
Many of us have lost loved ones over the past three years and due to COVID, we haven’t had the proper opportunity to say goodbye. 
Kamloops United Church would like to invite you and your family to a service of remembering those dear to us on Saturday, November 12 at 2:30 pm.   At this time, their names will be read out and there will be an opportunity for you to light a candle in their honour.  There will be an opportunity for you to add names to the list. 
A reception will follow in the church hall. 
We look forward to seeing you there.
