God's Ways Are Amazing

Dear Gregory

Oswald Chambers writes "The main thing about Christianity is not the work we do, but the relationship we maintain."  We can work and work, trying to do what God desires, but sometimes He just wants us to know Him and trust Him. The Lord works in His own timing and that does not always coincide with my timing. The relationship is above all.

We have had so many changes over the past few weeks. We tried to sell our house however God needed  it to help another child of His that needed a place to live. We were going to go to Cairo for language school, the Lord wanted us to go to the field a bit quicker. We had a shortfall in our support but then our financial obligation was  met through some very generous churches and individuals. This journey has been a constant building of relationship with our Father. As much as we want to get to the field, I long to know my Father in ways that I have never known before even more.

As we get ready to move to South Sudan our prayer is that no matter what is going on around us, we will remember that the Lord is in control and everything that we experience has passed through His hands first. We may see and even experience suffering beyond anything we have seen before, but trusting in our Father's hand will bring more joy than we have ever had.

Show me your ways, Lord,
    teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.

Ps 25:4-5
The clinic in Doro is seeing 100 to 150 people a day. Please pray for all those involved with this much needed ministry. This is quickly becoming a place where people are coming to hear the story of Jesus. Completely unreached people are coming to to get one of the audio story tellers that are available whenever they can get them, but they quickly run out.
Please pray for:

Praise for our financial needs being met.

Staff at Doro Clinic

For our faithfulness to our calling.

For God's guidance as we get involved in the many aspects of ministry at Doro
