Dear <<First Name>>,

How have you spent this boiling hot summer, full of extreme natural events and incredible twists and turns in Italian and European politics?
After a fairly quiet July, for us August and September were quite incredible. Without any doubt, our Detox camps have been the main events of our summer. Thanks to the "Social Media Detox - Sport & Fun" on Monte Bondone and "Smartphone: No Thanks" in Piana Rotaliana, we ended up on the pages of local newspapers and TV channels and activated two more Detox projects for this Fall. Besides addressing the issues of digital addiction and discrimination, our Detox initiatives are a spectacular opportunity to socialize and make new friends. How wonderful it is to be free and in a group for a few days, without the weight of your phone in your pocket and without perennial notifications!

Social Media Detox

Our late August Social Media Detox was practically two days of sports and fun on Monte Bondone for 18 participants. The brännbol tournament and geocaching competition, the digital gym and the 90s Detox party, the stress-relieving yoga class and the hebertism workshop filled up a late August weekend. Click on the following link to read the newspaper article on “l’Adige”, the TV videoshoot on RTTR and some extracts of the evaluation questionnaires received by the participants!

The "Smartphone: No Thank You" project involved two new first-grade classes from Mezzolombardo's "Martino Martini" Secondary School. About 25 students experienced a week of Detox day camps full of sports, educational and artistic activities in various spaces of the Piana Rotaliana. From the green area “Ai Piani” of Mezzolombardo to the Monte of Mezzocorona. As a get-to-know-each-other initiative, the school chose our Detox approach to help students to socialize and start in the best possible way their new five-years study course!
