Chair Update:
This summer has been a busy for WAEE as you might imagine!

The annual conference is great opportunity to network and learn. It is a showcase for new teaching techniques, exciting field trips, and hands-on workshops. The 2014 Annual Conference this year is a collaborative event between WAEE and the Green&Healthhy School Institute. Due to this partnership and a generous EPA grant registration is extremely low. This year we are very excited for all of the wonderful talent sessions, workshops, and presentations planned. Please encourage everyone you know to come to the annual conference this year and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. We look forward to seeing you there.

Along with planning the conference we have been hard at work organizing the Award’s Banquet. More updates coming soon.

The Green Apple Day of Service (GADoS), through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Center for Green Schools, provides an opportunity to transform schools into healthy, safe, and productive learning environments through local service projects. The GADoS initiative is a great way to involve student groups, parent volunteers, and local community organizations to make your school building or grounds greener and healthier.
