Chair Update:

WAEE is experiencing some changes this past month with Katie Perryman-Gebhardt leaving the administrator position and Joy Kacoroski taking over in the interim. We are very grateful to Joy for stepping in. The WAEE is accepting applications for the administrator position so if you know of someone you think would be qualified please have them apply. See details below.
The WAEE board meeting will take place on June 19, 2014 at Schmeeckle Reserve on the UWSP campus.
2014 annual conference registration is open and this year thanks to a generous sponsorship from the EPA the rates are extremely low.
The Awards Banquet planning is in full swing and we should have more details about the date and location soon.
Please encourage everyone you know to come to the annual conference this year.

Stefan Anderson
WAEE Board Chair

Katie Perryman-Gebhardt has taken a new position on the UWSP campus and she has left the WAEE Administrator position. While she was sad to leave,  it was a great opportunity for her and her family. She has been so grateful to be re-introduced to the EE world and will continue to be an active member of WAEE.

Joy Kacoroski, the graduate assistant for the WCEE, will be stepping to donate her time to act as Interim Administrator for the next few months. At UWSP she is currently working towards a Masters of Science in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Environmental Education and Interpretation. She is extremely excited to be a part of WAEE.
