GMS LEGO ROBOTICS TEAM PLACE IN STATE COMPETITION
The Gilson Middle School Lego Robotics Team traveled to Fairbanks on January 23rd for the state competition. They placed fourth in the robot games and first in the programming category. This year’s team was coached by Mr. Joe Robison and Mr. Josh Britton.

MAGNITUDE 7.1 EARTHQUAKE CAUSES DAMAGE ACROSS ALASKA
Most people in Valdez woke to Sunday's 1:30am earthquake. Little damage was felt in Valdez but across Alaska, damage ranges from cracks in the road, house explosions to items damaged from falling off shelves. Here are a few stories to sum things up:
