REMEMBER TO LEAVE YOUR WATER RUNNING

With cold temperatures and wind chill, plumbing is more likely to freeze and pipes can burst.
Several Valdez homeowners have experienced frozen pipes this winter, so please remember to keep water running in your home or business to prevent pipe freeze-up.
A pencil size stream is all you need!
For additional information, please contact Public Works @ 835-4473.

Congratulations to coach of the year, Todd Wegner

The massive find of conventional oil on state land could bring relief to budget pains in Alaska brought on by slumping production in the state and the crash in oil prices.
The new discovery was made in just the past few days in Alaska's North Slope, which was previously viewed as an aging oil basin.
