100 Inspirational Women

In honour of our truly inspirational talk this month we'll be putting up last year's inspirational women board. If you haven't already, please bring along a photograph of your inspirational woman (famous or not!) to add to those already collected.

Sailing Taster Day - Saturday 18th June

The Avon Federation is running this event. For anyone interested please take a look at the details and fill out the paper application form at our March meeting. Cost £15.

Scuba Diving Session

The first session took place on 7th March and there's another session on Monday 14th March. There's still a few spaces available for this second date so get in touch if you'd like to go along. It's at 7pm, meeting at the St Mary Redcliffe school car park (just off Somerset Square) and £15 for two hours of one to one tuition in the pool.



Please don't forget to volunteer to make cakes, bakes, savoury treats and anything else tasty for the meetings! Go to our new online sign-up page and book ahead! They went down very well at the last meeting, and the money raised will go to this year's charity – Carers Support Centre. 

More Cake! 

We need volunteers to staff the cake stall and to bake cakes for the Glos Road Central Mayfest on Saturday 7th May. Sign-up at the meeting.

Durdham Down Group (DDG) Fundraising Event

We are part of the Avon Fed DDG, along with Westbury Park WIWI.RED (Redfield)Clifton WI, Blaise WI and Brislington WI and this year we will be organising and hosting its fundraising event. This year will be an inter-WI lawn bowls event along with a bake-off. Date to TBC but it will take place in June. 

Mothers for Mothers Charity Ball

Bromley Heath WI are holding a charity ball in aid of Mother for Mothers on 15th April 2016. There are still tickets available. All details can be found at:

Knit & Stitch Fundraising Ideas

Membership for 2016 is now full, if you would like to go on our waiting list please contact us via email. We do accept a few visitors at our meetings, which costs £4. You can visit up to three times in 1 year.
