Kittens, chicks and donkeys oh my!
THE SCOOP
Hello Farm Families,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Earth Day Open House. It was a lovely spring day and it was wonderful to meet and greet friends, old and new, on the farm!

Here is a tongue twister for you to try.....
Our farm is a flurry with farm friends that are fun, fluffy and furry! Say that 3 times fast!

There are donkeys, baby kittens, chicks, ducks, guinea pigs, and goats on the farm....the only thing we are missing is our campers!  We look forward to greeting our first group of campers on the week of June 17th! Camp sessions are filling up quickly...so register today!  We are are near capacity for the week of August 19th and will be making a waiting list.

We are looking for teenagers aged 13 and older to volunteer as junior counselors for our farm camp sessions.  Please see the information below for more details.
Hope to see you soon!

CELEBRATE WORLD DONKEY DAY on MAY 8TH, 2013!

DONKEY FACTS
Donkeys are known as the helping hooves of humankind. In many countries they are the preferred mode of transportation. Donkeys can live for over 40 years. They are very strong and highly intelligent. Donkeys have a keen sense of curiosity and have an incredible memory and excellent hearing! In a desert environment they can hear the call of another donkey 60 miles away. Their large ears also help keep them cool. They are social beings and like companionship.

Sylvester is 17 years old and Ocean is 13! Sylvester was rescued from the New Holland Horse Auction by Miss Suzy and Suzy bought Ocean as his companion. We are very happy to have them join us at the farm! They are inquisitive and quite the givers of LOVE!
