Cleaning of Ghana Fertilizer Datasets
The focus during May 2021 has been review of data for two indicators as follows;
  • Fertilizer Retail Price data: Cleaned and uploaded Mar 2021 into the VIFAA admin Ghana fertilizer retail price submitted by
  • Fertilizer Subsidized Prices: Reviewed Ghana subsidized prices historical data (2010 to 2021) to make sure they are consistent with data in the VIFAA admin
Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement for Dashboard Launch

DG and have been able to map out 17 new government, private sector, university and research institution stakeholders to engage on the VIFAA project. Some of these new stakeholders will be engaged in the early week of July before launch of the dashboard with the remaining during the launch and after the launch.

Additionally, DG and have agreed that three separate launch events of the Ghana VIFAA dashboard be done to cater for sector specific needs and to ensure the dashboard impacts on as many stakeholders as possible who will require the dashboard to make decisions. As a result, we will separate launches for the Public Sector, Private Sector and Civil Society/Research/University/Development Partners.

We anticipate to have pre-launch engagements with the Private Sector, Public Sector and Civil Society/ Research/University/Development Partners starting from 5th to 23rd July 2021. The launch of the dashboard is expected to be in the last week of July 2021 to the first week of August 2021.

We will appreciate it, if you can block these timelines for these scheduled activities.  We will be in touch with more details on the launch activities.

DG is open for questions and comments.

Kind regards,
