A huge “Thank You†to everyone who supported the 2014 Brody Borlaug Memorial Golf Tournament and Benefit Dinner on July 25th; it was a fantastic day. Whether you golfed, attended the dinner, sponsored, donated, volunteered, or all-of-the-above, your presence and participation made this an extraordinary event. We thank you for helping us to celebrate and remember Brody while supporting the Foundation’s cause.

As it relates to the results of the event, the Brody Borlaug Foundation is pleased to announce that we've raised an astounding $66,346! This brings our 2014 year-to-date total to over $100,000 and the Brody Borlaug Foundation's Endowment Fund with Doernbecher Children's Hospital to over $260,000 in just three years! In addition, all funds raised in 2014 also count towards the Knight Cancer Challenge; a $1 billion campaign against cancer that will change Oregon's landscape as the OHSU Knight Cancer Center becomes a national leader in early detection and treatment for cancer.
Last year we came in just over $50,000 so to outpace that number by more than $16,000 is a testament to the support we have received and continue to receive in Brody’s honor. Although our work is far from done, we feel great pride in taking yet another step towards delivering on our mission to help the children in our region faced with complex medical challenges and providing them hope for a healthy future. You, too, should feel proud for your role in helping us make this vision a reality. We thank you sincerely and look forward to seeing you at our next event!
