THANK YOU so much for BELIEVING in our FAMILY and the CALLING on our lives. Today on Thanksgiving we rejoice and give thanks to God for YOU. Below is a poem Sara wrote out of a heart overwhelmed with love and gratitude for you, our partners who have held us across lands and seas.
We give thanks to God above for all he does for all his love,
He sent his one and only son, now our battle with death is over and won.
He did this for us, He did this for you, but the world is still lost and He’s not through.
He has untied us to follow a call, to pick up our cross and leave it all,
To reach adults, children and youth, and make them disciples who walk in the truth.
To you who give with a generous heart, thank you for fulfilling your part.
To you who make a sacrifice to give, thank you for financially helping us live. Today we give thanks for God and you,
for holding us close and carrying us through.
We are so Grateful! We send our love on Thanksgiving and pray that you have a blessed and special Holiday with your loved ones!
A Living Classroom
This is how I would describe the incredible past 3 months of our filed team's lives. Our lives, everything we are and all that we carry were a classroom for these 9 children and 11 interns. They learned how to manage their time and tackle goals in order of priority. They learned how to depend on and trust the Holy Spirit to discern and know what they could never know with just their minds. They learned how to live in community and fellowship by being transparent and vulnerable with each other. They learned how to push through physically, emotionally and spiritually to see breakthrough in their lives. They learned that being a missionary isn’t about what you do but instead about who you are. They learned that being a missionary is not about being perfect but about allowing God to use you even with your imperfections. Most importantly all 11 interns left knowing without a doubt they are called. The past 3 months were not easy for the interns or for us, but together we all grew and are walking more in our calling than any of us have before. We are excitedly looking forward to 3 of the families joining our team here in Honduras!
Go To Nations Created a video explaining how someone becomes a GTN missionary.
You can watch the whole video or skip to 2:18 to see how you, our partners, helped raise up new missionaries over these past ten weeks through TIP.
We will be going to Texas to be with family for Christmas. We are super excited because this will be Makai’s first Christmas in America. We are really looking forward to a few weeks of rest and rejuvenation after such a busy season! Please keep us in your prayers as we travel. We will be flying December 10th.
Thank you so much for praying for us during the internship. We felt a supernatural grace over our family during this intense and busy season. We know it was the prayers of our faithful partners, friends and family that was carrying us through! Thank you so much!!! Happy Thanksgiving!
