Queensland Sugar Limited (QSL) has secured a $500 million contract to supply 1.164 million tonnes of sugar to three of Korea’s largest refiners - CJ Cheiljedang Corporation, Samyang Corporation and TS Corporation.

Cane growers in bitter battle with Wilmar

North Queensland MP George Chrisitensen encouraged cane growers in Sarina and Proserpine to "vote with their fee" and opt for a Mackay Sugar upply agreement rather than accepting Wilmar's proposal regarding the marketing of their sugar.
