Winter 2016-2017

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a great holiday! We are kicking off 2017 with an exciting member event. Join us on January 19 for a production of LAUGH, a new comedy by Pulitzer Prize winner and Theatre 3 alumna Beth Henley. After the performance, LAA guests will have access to a private “Talk Back” with the cast and crew. LAA has a limited number of tickets, so be sure to claim yours soon! Buy Tickets
Join fellow business professionals on January 18 for a behind-the-scenes look at Gardere’s newly-minted offices at McKinney & Olive, designed by Cesar Pelli. This spectacular building was constructed by Beck, and Gardere's interior architecture and design were provided by Gensler. Of special significance is the Gardere art collection. Curator Cris Worley will provide guests with a rare opportunity to hear about these works first-hand. RSVP
The Obelisk Awards, held on November 7, honored our region’s corporate community and nonprofit leaders for their partnerships and initiatives that immeasurably enrich the cultural fabric of North Texas. Visit the BCA Facebook page to see photos of the event, honorees, and keynote speaker Ryan Anthony.
On January 2, Jan Pruitt, former CEO of North Texas Food Bank died of cancer. Here are two articles that celebrate and illustrate her importance to the North Texas community.
On November 15, LAA visited the Jesuit Dallas Museum for a tour of David Bates & Texas Artists, led by Elizabeth Hunt Blanc, Museum Director and LAA Member! Couldn't join us? Check out some of our photos from the event!
