Choong Hyun Mission (Charis) Church paid a short visit on their way to Bangladesh, treating us to a Korean bbq dinner and visiting Rahab the next day. They also had a breakfast visit with Jay (Niroshan) since they're supporting SMLC, his refugee school. We welcome their support as Sarah's family church, and also for providing housing and a car whenever we visit California.
I had a good time officiating the wedding for Dwight and Panisha at Surat Thanilast week, and the trip back with Yo and his wife, Moo. Their social business called Courageous Kitchen really helps the refugee children in Bangkok. Dwight's the one that got me started with some refugee work about 8 years ago.
Our landlord decided to sell our rented condo this year. We can simply move out or figure out a way to purchase it. We think this is a good time of evaluation and transition. Email me if you feel compelled to help raise funds for this or another condo that can be used as a ministry center as well as our residence.
